How did you first find your way on Earth?

It was the late eighties and I was in Canada, across from Detroit. So, when I was 14-15 years old, I went to town for a concert, and then I discovered techno and some cool dance floors. I found music on Detroit radio and started looking for record stores and clubs. I was a dumb, introverted kid who loved music and computers, and then found my freedom on the dance floor and among many other geeks like me.

I think one of the things that was really interesting was how friendly and safe the dance floors were in the '90s and how that was one of the things that we've been missing out on as they got bigger and bigger. But now there is a renaissance, a new generation is coming, and once again making the dance floor a place of solitude and a place of safety for all... Music should be a force that brings joy and salvation.
